School Swimming and Water Safety Program

The Department of Education School Swimming and Water Safety Program is an intensive learn to swim program, which develops water confidence and provides students with basic skills in water safety and survival. The Program is conducted over ten days. Each daily lesson is 45 minutes. This is for all students K-6.

We are delighted that our P&C have generously donated money to this program to cover the cost of the transport to and from Toronto Indoor Swim Centre. Students only need to pay for pool entry which will be $48.00 for the 10 days (this also covers a colour coded swimming cap).

Students will wear normal school uniforms each day. They will need to bring swimmers, a towel, a t-shirt or rash shirt, googles and spare underwear. Please ensure that all googles are fitted correctly before each lesson. They may wear swimmers under their uniform or get changed at school. Please ensure all clothing is clearly marked with your child’s name.
