Our school is seeking to improve student achievement and understanding. We consistently strive to improve educational outcomes for all our students. In 2017, we have continued our work with Explicit Instruction pedagogy guided by Mr John Fleming. Mr Fleming is the Deputy Principal of Haileybury College in Melbourne and has considerable expertise and experience transforming schools from good schools to great schools.
Mr Fleming visits our school for a half day once a term and provides feedback on our teaching and learning practices and future directions.
We also work with a community of schools to build capacity amongst our teachers. We are proud to be working closely with Barnsley PS, Booragul PS, Cooranbong PS and Charlestown South PS.
We have already seen a big shift in the way our teachers teach and the way our students are learning. We believe strongly we are on the right journey for our students and look forward to continued success.
